About

Recommended by Petrolheads Welcome member, Rob P.  This could be an ideal stop off for a break when enjoying the country roads around the Cotswolds.  Here is what he tells us:

“Well, this is a small, hidden gem: Wild Carrot Cotswold Cycling has recently opened a delightful open air café right next to the world famous Chavenage House (aka Trenwith, the Poldark family home), just outside Tetbury.

The café operates from a well-equipped converted horse box, serving teas, coffees, soft drinks and cakes. The outdoor seating is comfortable and contemporary and there is a delightful rill water feature to amuse. One of the adjacent barns is open on one side and accommodates a two-sofa lounge setting, a table for 6 and the very modern WC.

Access is via narrow Cotswold country lanes and the parking is level gravel with space for 10 to 12 well spaced cars. The owners welcome groups by appointment, with their contact details on the Wild Carrot Facebook page.”

Thanks Rob!
