About

Recommended by member Rob P. this is what he has to say:

“This great farm shop and café ticks all of the petrolhead boxes. It is owned by a couple who appreciate fine cars – they run a classic car day once a week in the season and they offer good food and an attractive venue. For a drop in visit, the large main car park is level gravel and would suit most specialist cars; for larger gatherings, there are two level, mown paddocks adjacent to the car park, which can accommodate dozens of well spaced out cars. The farm shop has a nice range of products and gifts, while the licensed café offers excellent food and coffees/teas etc. The bacon/sausage baps are highly recommended. There is a good size indoor seating area and a large outdoor, and partly covered, area overlooking the car park and paddocks. The owners are happy to welcome individual visitors and can offer special arrangements for larger groups on request, such as the use of the paddocks. The shop/café is easily found on the A424 between Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway and has far reaching views over the Cotswold hills.”

Following Rob’s recommendation we found an opportunity to visit. We were not disappointed! A very warm welcome from owners Bernard and Joanne and great parking added to the good food and shop fare.

Perfect for a stop-off when exploring the Cotswolds, as many car clubs are now discovering… especially on Wednesdays, apparently.
