The Schlosshotel is situated in the historic centre of Weilburg amongst attractive streets, shops, cafes and the beautiful castle gardens.
There are two parking choices: the square outside the front entrance or covered parking in the garage at the rear. The outside square is secluded and has a barrier entry system, although it was in the permanently open position during our short stay. Some of the hotel rooms overlook the square.
Whilst the garage provides indoor parking with a barrier entry/exit system, there is a cost of €5 per day (@ Jul ’19). There is also evidence of pigeons enjoying the same space, although we didn’t see any of the birds (culprits!).
We have provided a series of photographs below that will help you to find the entrance to both the garage and square. The apparent ‘no entry’ signs do not affect access, but are a little off-putting if you’re new to the area and don’t speak (read) German. Your satnav may also not be entirely reliable for the last few yards/meters of your journey!
