In the Arán Valley, where nature displays its splendour like nowhere else

We visited this Parador during a road trip of Spain (see blog). Approached from the main C-28 road through the gorgeous mountainous area of a National Park (Parc National Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici) roughly half way along the Spanish/French border (Pyranees) north of Andorra.
Its main car park is outside the front entrance and partially visible from the main road. We and a number of other classic car owners were happy to leave the cars there overnight. Though they do have a parking garage for an additional charge (€16 when we visited in 2021)
