Some members of the Petrolheads Welcome team stayed here for an event at Bicester Heritage Centre (about 3 miles down the road). It’s also convenient for Silverstone Race Circuit and Blenheim Palace
The car park is accessed through an archway off the high street. Care needs to be taken but it’s not so narrow as to be daunting (unless you’re driving a huge American classic in which case you might need to check beforehand).
Once inside, the carpark is a mixture of smooth level tarmac and an overflow that undulates a little and is covered in loose stones.
The low, modern sportscars we were driving had no problem parking on the overflow area. If it’s been raining you’ll get sandstone mud/dust on your footwell mats. So, if you’re a concours competitor, you’ll prefer the tarmac area, if you can find a space (it was full when we arrived at 18:00 on a Saturday).
There is an outside tap that we were free to use with the blessing of the staff.
