Some of the team visited here during the Classic TT. So, thanks to Petrolheads Welcome member Sara B. for reminding us about this venue.  Here is what she says:

“Opened in 2015 the museum is situated in the north of the island on the former RAF base at Jurby. Among the over 400 exhibits are cars, bikes, tractors, lorries, buses and fire engines ranging from concours to everyday and barn finds. The unusual and the esoteric a speciality with most in a usable condition. Motorcycles are housed on two mezzanine levels with an expected emphasis on TT bikes. There is plenty of flat hard parking and a coffee house in one of the former RAF buildings. Try to coincide your visit with the Classic TT week and you will see a large selection of bikes exercised on the peri-track circuit. IOM travel cards allow you on the buses, electric train, steam train and horse trams and are a great way of getting about the island efficiently and cheaply.”

Thanks Sara!

Really enjoyed this museum a few years back. I recall it wasnt cheap to get in but felt worth it afterwards. Plenty of space to look around the items on display and few rooms (mini museums) off to the side. Nice mix of bikes and cars, etc. and the cafe across the way is wartime themed so some great photos on the wall.
