This is a quaint and tightly packed museum of motoring, motoring memorabilia and toys, mainly of a motoring theme. Anyone who grew up in the 50s – 70s will recognise lots of things here. It’s also in a lovely part of the world for petrolheads.
If you arrive in a pre-1980s classic, you can park in front of the museum, if there’s room. If not, there’s plenty of parking nearby, including the Royal British Legion Club (contact them first to check for access).
The Petrolheads Welcome team has been there a few times. Each time we find something new to excite us.
You can find the FBHVC’s directory of Motor Museums HERE.
Been here a few times. It hasnt changed much but I see different things every year and always spend longer than I think in there! cars, models, toys, petrol cans, loads of stuff. No parking and the town can be busy at weekends.
