Castle Combe has a rich heritage in motorsport. It has hosted many classic duels in top flight racing for the likes of Stirling Moss, John Surtees and Mike Hawthorne.
It’s main focus now is on club racing, testing and events for both cars and motorcycles. TV shows, such as BBC’s Top Gear, often film there and there are racing schools based at the circuit.

Castle Combe is a really friendly circuit, offering great views of the action. Just off the M4…well worth a visit if you haven’t been yet.
It was my first time at Castle Combe with the family and it was a great day out had by all. It’s a fantastic track and very fun to watch with perfect viewing of races all around the course. (standing only, so take a portable chair if required). Plenty of hot and cold food stalls to sample, would definitely recommend.
Great views of great racing. A friendly circuit where even the hi-vis gate people are welcoming!
Been to lots of race meetings here. Always good even if its raining with great viewing nearly all the way round the track.
