Our Region of the Porsche Club use AV8 regularly. It's centrally located for us, and it has plenty of parking, either on tarmac or grass. The food choice is varied, or you can just have a coffee. Lots of seating inside, plus outside in nicer weather. The Staff are always friendly and helpful. Be careful with the SatNav ~ Use GL7 6PL, otherwise you will end up on the wrong side of the airport !!
Been a few times now, and always seen something of interest, weekdays and weekends. C&M welcome owners of all types of road going vehicles, fast & slow, new & old. Plenty of parking (a small fee at weekends to pay for the Marshalling), an excellent Bar and Menu, all set in beautiful surroundings. Well worth a day out to visit C&M to meet like-minded people.
Been a couple of times now, and it's so good I'm going again this year. They change the exhibits regularly, so there is always something new and unexpected to see. If you drive over you might also get permission to park up your Porsche by the Museum Entrance. Whilst you are there, do try to go on a Factory Tour (pre-arranged), either on the 911/718 line or the new Taycan line, as you will see German engineering at its finest.
Stayed here a couple of times now, and visiting again this year. Steeped in history and owned by people who love cars, there is always something to enjoy here, classic cars or well-known people. I was privileged to park up next to a Merc 300SL roadster !! If you are in the area then make a detour to stop by. Even better, book a night or two and use it as a base for Le Mans. The country road from here to LM was used by the racing teams to test the cars prior to the race day, so give that a go too.
Was here last summer, touring Spain & Portugal. The Parador Hotels are always good, and this one has plenty of parking, nice rooms and friendly staff. If you go there, make sure you drive between Potes and Llánaves on the N-621 through the mountains, preferably early before the traffic builds up. I would definitely go to this area and this hotel again.
Was there last year on a Porsche Track Day. The track itself is challenging but great fun. The facilities are excellent with covered bays for car preparation, lots of parking, and a decent cafe. There are numerous vantage points for spectators. Whilst there, be sure to drive around the island on the minor roads.
We spent all day here as there is so much to see. Loads of cars obviously, including Hitler's personal Merc, but so much other technical stuff as well, from huge marine engines to little sewing machines. It's also nice that you can get very close to many of the cars and see the interiors. The photo is a 1927 Bugatti Type 37 - beautiful !!
I always stay here whenever I visit Goodwood, as it breaks the journey up for me. Huge parking area so you nice motor will be safe, and the Porsche Center is next door !! (Do drop in as they will welcome you). The Rooms are very good, and the staff are friendly. The photo is of a 356 Outlaw, in the PC.
We chose this hotel in Ramsey for our Porsche Club Tour de Manx as it has plenty of decent parking, unlike the hotels in Douglas. The rooms were good and the staff friendly. From there we were able to easily follow the various TT courses. Don't forget to include a lunch stop at Creg-Ny-Baa on your drives. We will use this hotel again.
